1) What is the cost of the program?
There are multiple programs and courses to choose from. Programs start t $4,500.
2) Can a student choose their class time?
Yes, students can choose between two class times. The classes are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-12:00PM for morning class and 1:00PM-5:00PM for afternoon class.
3) How many days a week is a student required to attend the program?
Students must attend classes Monday through Friday.
4) Does the student get a certificate at the end of the program?
Yes, students will receive a certificate of completion detailing the course taken and welding procedures trained. Students will be prepared to pass common industry welding tests.
5) How much money can students, who go through your classes, make?
The programs will allow students to pass common industry welding tests. They will be ready to work in a fabrication shop, refineries, and new construction. On average, a welder makes between $28 and $48 per hour which is approximately $80k to $120k per year. They can make up to $170k should they become a rig welder.
6) Do students need to purchase anything to attend classes?
Students are required to have a grinder, safety glasses, gloves, closed toe shoes, and a long sleeve shirt. A tool list is provided upon enrollment.
7) What kind of payment plan do you offer if you offer any?
Yes, Blue Diamond Welding offers payment plans for students. The student is required to put a down payment to reserve a spot. The remaining balance can then be paid in payments. We are also approved on the Eligible Training Provider list. Students can get help with tuition if they qualify.
8) Do you help at the end of the program to line your students up with jobs?
Our instructors have many connections and can provide guidance on where to apply. We constantly have representatives of local contractors visit our facility.
